My name is Dustin Winegar. I have been a Utah resident for all of my life. I currently live in West Jordan with my wife and two children.
I have been a gun owner ever since my parents bought me a Daisy BB gun at the age of eight. To say the least, I became hooked. Since then, I've had much experience in the shooting sports with many types of firearms.
After the birth of our second child, I decided that it was time to accept more responsibility for keeping my family safe at all times. In today's world, that means carrying a firearm. I admit that I was nervous at first, but soon became accustomed to having a firearm at my side all the time. It wasn't long after I obtained my concealed firearm permit when I decided that I wanted to teach others about concealed carry. I began to obtain additional training and eventually became a NRA Basic Pistol Instructor. A few months later, I became a Utah Concealed Firearm Instructor.
